General Tips and Safety

There are a number of methods for wrapping or swaddling a baby however, the Joey Pouch^® makes this so simple that even Dad, the Grand-parents or the Babysitter won't be able to use the excuse that they don't know how to wrap or swaddle.

You can place baby's arms a number of ways or wrap the Joey Pouch around baby's arms as they fall naturally.  Typically, up near their face/ears to prevent baby pulling up the fabric as they move to their favoured position.

Just remember that babies also have preferences and are not all going to necessarily like to be "Mummified". The Joey Pouch^® is intended to simulate a mother's womb and therefore babies are able to move by kicking their legs and moving their arms just as they were able to move in mum's womb!

The Joey Pouch^® has been made long to accommodate baby as they grow. Any excess fabric at the bottom of the Joey Pouch^® is to be tucked into the bottom of the cot, bassinette or similar.

• A child's safety is the responsibility of its parents or carer.
• Do not let baby overheat.
• Please use the Temperature Guide as a guide only as a number of factors should be considered when determining the clothing to be worn by baby under the Joey Pouch^®, including whether baby is ill, the temperature of baby's room, the clothing baby is wearing.
• Do not use the Joey Pouch^® with a doona, duvet or quilt.
• SIDS and KIDS recommend sleeping baby in a cot or bassinette next to your bed for the first few months of baby's life.
• Ensure that baby's head can't slip down through the neck hole of the Joey Pouch^® when the product is wrapped around baby and fastened for use.
• Adjust baby's clothes according to the temperature of baby's room. Also be mindful of the temperature when baby is sleeping in another room, for example, when staying with friends or relatives, when on holiday or other unfamiliar rooms.
• Check baby's temperature regularly by placing the back of your hand on the back of baby's neck and/or chest.
• Always keep baby away from any fire source.

Delivery & Returns

Australian Postage & Delivery

Products are despatched from our warehouse on Monday, Wednesday and Friday each week. Orders must be received by 12 noon (WST) or prior on the day of despatch to be included. Orders received after 12noon (WST) will be sent on the next possible despatch day.

Bubbaroo uses Australia Post eParcel for deliveries within Australia and your order can be tracked. Please note that Australia Post can deliver to your business or residential address. We cannot accept responsibility for deliveries to Post Office boxes.

If you spend over $100 in any transaction there will not be a shipping cost. For transactions below $100 you can obtain a quote for shipping costs in My Bag which will show either Regular Australia Post $10 or Express Australia Post $15. Below is a guide for delivery times within Australia.

International Postage & Delivery

All products will be despatched within 48 hours after receipt of your payment, provided all items are in stock. We will contact you as soon as possible where items are out of stock.

Bubbaroo uses Australia Post eParcel for International deliveries. Please note that we will deliver to your business or residential address. We may not be able to deliver to Post Boxes or Poste Restante in your local country - please click here for destination specific information.

You can obtain a quote for shipping costs in My Bag. You can proceed through Checkout to confirm postage costs without placing your order. You can choose from the following delivery methods:

1. Air Mail - which provides no tracking and is delivered  within 3-10 business days*
2. Air Mail with Extra Cover/ Insurance - Air Mail with cover against loss, theft or damage, proof of postage and signature on delivery. Extra Cover may not be available for your destination, please click here for destination specific information.
3. Express Courier International - offers reliable door-to-door delivery within 2-5 business days between metropolitan areas of major cities.* In addition, Express Courier International provides tracking for most destinations.*
4. Express Courier International with Extra Cover/Insurance - Express Courier International with cover against loss, theft or damage, proof of postage and signature on delivery. Extra Cover may not be available for your destination, please click here for destination specific information.

Bubbaroo will not be liable for loss, theft or damage whilst in transit. Accordingly, if available for your destination, the additional cost of Extra Cover/Insurance is AUD5.30  and may be worth the investment. 

Please bear in mind that taxes and duties in your home country or the country the goods are exported to may apply. Bubbaroo will not be liable for any taxes and/or duties imposed by government authorities.

Returns

We trust you will be completely happy with your purchase from our website, however, Bubbaroo will accept returns of new, unworn, unwashed product in original packaging for an exchange from a purchase on our website within 14 days of receipt of purchase. We do our best to ensure our products are free of any manufacturing defects. Sale or discounted items cannot be returned or exchanged unless there is a manufacturing defect.
