
How to use the Joey Pod Transitional Swaddle Bag

The Joey Pod Transitional Swaddle Bag is designed for babies weighing from 4kg and is to be used when your baby is ready to transition from swaddling. The Joey Pod can be used in 3 ways:
- Swaddle – both arms in: Using the Joey Pod as a traditional swaddle, keep the invisible zips closed so that both baby’s arms are enclosed in the Joey Pod.
- Transition from Swaddling – one arm in, one arm out: Using the Joey Pod as a transitional swaddle, allow one of baby’s arms to be positioned outside the swaddle by placing it through the invisible zip.
- Independent Sleep – both arms out: Using the Joey Pod for independent sleep, position both baby’s arms outside the swaddle by placing them through the invisible zips.
Steps 1
Lay Joey Pod Transitional Swaddle Bag on a flat surface with the zip open.
Steps 2
Lay your baby on top of the Joey Pod Transitional Swaddle Bag. Fasten the zip with baby’s hands in the desired position.

Steps 3
To change a nappy or to cool down baby, unzip from the bottom to release the legs and lower torso. Re-fasten zip.
Steps 4
To transition to arms out sleeping, place one arm outside the swaddle by placingit through the invisible zip. Release one arm at a time over several days.
